About Our Client
My client is leading international life sciences business looking to establish a substantial base in the UK. They are well-funded with a superb product portfolio and ambitious plans to grow the business.
The business unit will be circa £1 billion turnover for first full financial year.
Job Description
This is a broad CFO role encompassing all areas of finance – you will be responsible for building a brand new team and finance function. It is likely that IT and HR will also fall under the remit of this role.
With sales of circa £1 billion, it is thought the finance function will need of team of 25+.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have extensive experience in pharmaceuticals or life sciences. I would also like to speak to candidates from analogous industries such as food manufacture.
It would be a distinct advantage to have experience in building teams from scratch and to hire with future growth in mind.
The role will also be external facing and in a highly regulated industry and so experience in this field is preferable.
Experience of international markets would also be very useful.
